Q: Where is the Biography form?
A: Hit "New Thread". Then all will be understood. c;
Q: Do we have to be these "perfect people"?
A: Of course not. You are welcome to be a "regular" person, too. In fact, that may be funner. You can have more flaws and all that jazz.
Q: Can I be a part of staff?
A: No.
Q: Can my Oculi's eyes glow red/orange/some-colour-that-isn't-normal?
A: No. Basically, the eyes glow whatever colour the eye is. And Oculi don't have unnatural eye colours. That gives you, essentially, blue, brown and green. Brown eyes glow yellow, but that's about as far as you can get for "unnatural". Understandably, albinos tend to have red eyes, but no Oculi would be albino, anyway, so don't even try.
Q: Nobody's answering my question/replying to my post! What's going on?
A: The word doesn't revolve around you, kid. The staff can become busy with management and their own role-plays. And perhaps your post doesn't really seem appealing to others. In that case, maybe edit it so that it leaves more of an opening for others to join.
Q: Can I advertise/affiliate with you?
A: No. This site doesn't advertise. Therefore, if you advertise here, it will be deleted, even if you advertise us on your site. Clear?
Q: So... can my character swear, in the role-plays?
A: Yes. You can use the foulest language you can think of, but only in the role-plays. Otherwise, wash your mouth out a little. It won't hurt.
Q: I wanna kill off my character. Why do I have to tell the staff about it?
A: So that we can know. The staff can't follow every role-play, so when you kill a character, we might not find out until several days later! We'll also ask you if you want the biography deleted.
Q: I see a lot of role-plays where the characters' speech is a different colour. Do I have to make my character's speech a certain colour?
A: Absolutely not! You can do whatever you like. Bold it, colour it, maybe nothing at all. It all depends on what you like to do.
Q: I don't get it. Oculi are smart and strong. When they're captured by regular humans, why don't they just bust the humans' asses?
A: Just because the Oculi are strong and smart doesn't make them better. Humans can still best them. Remember, not all Oculi are necessarily fighters, some were created to have brains over the brawns. Plus, the Oculi are on the same side as the humans, and most don't want to hurt/kill them at all.
Q: It's the future, right? So what's the world like? What kind of new weaponry and technology is there?
A: It is the future, but it is also an alternate universe. So it's not that far in the future. There aren't hover cars and plasma guns and all that crap. The weapons would be similar to ours, just a little more advanced. The technology would be the same--the main advances in it would be biological, with the creation of life in a test tube.
Q: What country are we in? What country is attacking us?
A: That honestly doesn't matter. If you're oh so curious to know, it isn't any country we know of today. The countries are different in this world.
Q: What about the regular civilians? What about the enemy? What's life like for them?
A: Again, a little irrelevant to the role-play. All you'd see of the enemy is their soldiers and guns. That's all you need to know of them. The civilians, the ones that survived the attacks, are currently sheltering underground.
Q: Can my human become an Oculi?
A: No. Oculi are born the way they are. If you want an Oculi character, make one. This also works vice versa.
Q: Can my character have special attributes? Like, a robotic art, or something?
A: No. They use guns. That's it. The only "enhancements" allowed are the Oculi, since they are genetically/biologically enhanced.
More will be sure to be added!
